Public Procurement Act to Rebound Zambia’s Economy-ZIPS

By Robert Mwanza- Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply outgoing President CHIBWE MWELWA says the 2020 public procurement Act will unlock economy difficulties that the country is faced with.

Mr. MWELWA says the act shifts majority ownership of running businesses from foreign hands to Zambians.

He says this will allow the country to return the forex.

Mr. CHIBWE adds that act will also ensure Zambian youths, women and the disabled who have been marginalized for a long-time huge stakes in any foreign investment.

He adds that the Act will further allows the smooth transfer of skills to Zambians and in turn promote quality works.

Mr. CHIBWE has since appealed to Zambians to believe in the leadership of President EDGAR LUNGU whom he says has formulated a robust roadmap to industrialize the nation in the next five years.

He said this in an interview with ZNBC News in Mansa.
