PRESIDENT LUNGU MOURNS MWANALEZA

State House Photographer Eddie Mwanaleza has died.

Mr. Mwanaleza aged 61 died this morning in the University Teaching Hospital where he was admitted after falling ill.

And President Edgar Lungu has described the Mr. Mwanaleza as a long serving servant of the nation whose photographer gallery could tell the whole story about Zambia.

President Lungu says Mr. Mwanaleza’s death is a great loss not just for the family but Government and statehouse.

He also noted that his death is a loss to the media fraternity.

Mr. Mwanaleza worked for almost all the public media houses and the private media before being attached to State House from ZANIS in 2012.

He is survived by wife and children, funeral is at his residence in Lusaka West.
