Power Dynamos appoint Songwe Chalweas first assistant

Zambia Super League side Power Dynamos, has appointed Songwe Chalwe as their new first assistant coach.

Chalwe leaves his post at Nkoloma Stadium after eight years of having served the club both as a player and a coach diligently.

“Power Dynamos FC is pleased to announce that Songwe Chalwe has joined the Club as a first assistant coach. Chalwe has been part of the Red Arrows FC technical bench since 2013.

The former Chipolopolo International has served as an assistant coach under various coaches who include, George Lwandamina, Oswald Mutapa, and Honor Janza.”

Charlie says it’s a privilege to sign for a club like Power Dynamos and has promised to add value to the 2011 Super League Champions.

“It is a privilege to sign for a Club as Powerful as Power Dynamos which has a strong history in Zambian football. I will do my best to add value to the club. My ambition is to be part of a new successful chapter for Power Dynamos FC,” he said.

Chalwe will immediately join the team on its pre-season program in Samfya.

Chalwe had a successful football career as a player with Red Arrows and several South African clubs, including Kaizer Chiefs, Moroka Swallows, Mpumalanga Black Aces to mention but a few.
