POOL MAYBE INTRODUCED IN SCHOOLS

The Zambia Pool Union -ZPU- has started engagements with the ministries of Sports and Education on the introduction of pool as a sport in schools.

ZPU President VICTOR KONIE is optimistic that the sport will be played in schools by next year.

KONIE told ZNBC news that various stakeholders have welcomed the move and will play their part for successful implementation.

Meanwhile, KONIE also disclosed that the national pool team will this month travel to Kaputa for a friendly tournament to keep the team active.

He said the tournament is at the invitation of the Kaputa Pool Association who want to gain exposure through interaction with national team players.
