POLICE NAB 12 PROHIBITED IMMIGRANTS

Police in Lusaka have intercepted 12 prohibited immigrants believed to be from Pakistan.

Police Deputy Spokesperson DANNY MWALE says the suspected prohibited immigrants were found last night around 22:30 hours at a Lodge in Kabangwe area in Lusaka after a tip off by alert members of the public.

Mr. MWALE says officers managed to intercept a Toyota Alphard registration number AIC 4225 carrying the suspects as it attempted to leave.

He says investigations have been instituted in conjunction with the department of Immigration.
