Police investigate financial irregularities at ZAMSTATS

Police in Lusaka are investigating some officials at the Zambia Statistics Agency -ZAMSTATS- for suspected financial irregularities.

Zambia Police Service Deputy Public Relations Officer DANNY MWALE says two senior officers from the agency have so far been interrogated.

Mr. MWALE has told ZNBC News in an exclusive interview that the two senior officers were interrogated at Woodlands Police Station.

He said the matter is still under investigations and no arrests have been made so far.
