Players who could win Chipolopolo today’s match

By the ZamFoot Crew | August 3, 2019

The Copper Bullets will this afternoon go head to head with the Zebras of Botswana in the second leg of their Cameroon 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier at Heroes Stadium on Saturday.

Coach Aggrey Chiyangi and his players need an outright win to progress to the final round of qualification. With the Zambia Women national team and the U-20 Women national team all doing well at COSAFA Championships, There is a lot of Pressure on Aggrey Chiyangi to deliver.

The ZamFoot Crew looks at a number of players that can deliver for the Copper Bullets to ensure they progress to the final round.

KELVIN MUBANGA KAMPAMBA

The Nkana winger is one of the most skillful players in the team and can be very creative if fully utilized. Kampamba is able to beat players and can score goals from range.

The former Power dynamos midfielder is also a dead ball specialist. The one problem is that at times he gets frustrated easily and gets unnecessary cards.

Chiyangi will need to motivate Kampamba to be at his best today. Should he come to the party Chipolopolo will have a big chance of winning the match.

BRUCE MUSAKANYA

The Red Arrows captain is another creative player that coach Aggrey Chiyangi has at his disposal. He, however, has not been given a chance to prove his worth.

Musakanya has the ability to unlock a defense which can come in handy. In addition, he can also score goals which Zambia desperately needs in today’s game.

ADRIAN CHAMA

The captain of the side will lead the team on the pitch from the back as he is expected to partner Clement Mwape in the heart of the defense.

Yes, Zambia needs to score a goal or goals to win the match but keeping a clean sheet is just as important and that swhere he will come in the picture.

The Green Buffaloes defender will need to command his defense well and make sure Sebastian Mwange has little to do in goal.

SEBASTIAN MWANGE

The last line of defense is the goalkeeper and the 2019 COSAFA Championship golden glove winner has proved to be an asset to the team. Zambia will need to keep a sheet today especially that they did not score an away goal in Botswana last Friday.

The Green Eagles shot-stopper will need to bring his A-game as Botswana is eager to get that all-important away goal.

EMMANUEL CHABULA

Chiyangi looks to prefer the Chitiya Mususu and Tapson Kaseba partnership upfront but Emmanuel Chabula good prove to be a valuable asset both coming from the bench and even as a starter.

Unlike Mususu and Kaseba, The Nkwazi forward offers more in attack as he plays as a center forward, Winger and second striker. He can also score from long range.

The winner over two legs will face either Angola or Eswatini in the final round of qualification.
