PF,UPND pledge violence free Chilubi poll

By Ruth Chayinda-The Patriotic Front and the UPND have vowed to carryout a free violent election in Chilubi Constituency.Patriotic Front Deputy Campaign Manager Geoffrey Mwamba says campaigns have been peaceful as opposed to the picture being portrayed in some sections of the media.Mr Mwamba says the party has restrained all its members in engaging in violent activities to enable the elections to be free from violence.Mr Mwamba was speaking when they two held an impromptu roadside meeting with the UPND Deputy Secretary General Patrick Mucheleka in Chilubi.He noted that the PF Candidate will win the elections because he is the best candidate for the Chilubi seat.And Mr Mucheleka said the UPND is also committed to ensuring that the Chilubi by elections are free from violence.He said him and Mr Mwamba are still family despite belonging to different political parties and sharing views.Earlier, Mr MWAMBA met with the community where he urged the people to vote for the PF candidate Mulenga Fube because he will take development to the area.
