PF WONT LIFT SUSPENSIONS FOR MEMBERS WHO COMMITTED CRIMES

By Mark Ziligone- The PF leadership says the party will not lift the suspension of party members who committed criminal offences.

PF Secretary General Davis Mwila says the party believes in discipline and will let the law take its course.

Mr. Mwila however says the party will consider lifting the suspension of members with minor disciplinary cases and have shown remorse to the party.

The PF Secretary General said this shortly after a media briefing on the resolution of the central Committee Meeting which was chaired by President Edgar Lungu on February 20, 2021.

Mr. Mwila said the central committee resolved to ensure that discipline and exemplary behavior among party members and Government officials is adhered to.

He said the central committee will fight any forms of criminality in the party.

Mr. Mwila also disclosed that the Central Committee resolved to adopt candidates who are strong and popular on grassroots.

He said the party will not impose any candidate against the will of the people.
