PF sends Message to ANC over Xenophobia

Patriotic Front -PF- Secretary General Davies Mwila has urged the African National Congress -ANC- of South Africa to use all means within its influence and power to resolve recent attacks of foreigners in South Africa.Mr Mwila says xenophobic acts are against the Universal African value of “Ubuntu”.He said reports of increasing xenophobic violence are against the spirit of the liberation struggle and the values of a liberated South Africa.Mr Mwila said Zambians and other Africans sacrificed their lives to liberate South Africa from the shackles of the Apartheid Regime.The PF SG noted that Africans across the continent and Zambia provided refuge and solace to their exiled South African brothers and sisters.He further expressed confidence that the ANC and the people of South Africa will prevail over xenophobia.This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by PF Media Director Sunday Chanda.
