PF MPs Stage Protest at US Embassy

Some PF Members of Parliament today protested at the United States Embassy and the European Union Office seeking an audience with the Head of the Missions.

However, the US Embassy Head of Security advised the team that if they want to set up an official meeting they should use the official channels.

But, Chief Government Spokesperson, CORNELIUS MWEETWA has advised the opposition Patriotic Front to stop dragging diplomats accredited to Zambia in their internal party wrangles.

Mr. MWEETWA says the government is concerned with the behaviour of some PF Members of Parliament who have continued to patronise foreign diplomats, to resolve party issues.

He has also challenged the PF to tell the nation whether they now recognise the United States of America as a defender of democracy.
