PF MOBILISATION SENSITIZES HEADMEN ON NRCs

(ZANIS) The Patriotic Front -PF- mobilisation committee has held a sensitisation meeting with over 1-hundred and 50 headmen in Nyakawise and Mateyomuzeka wards of Msanzala Constituency of Petauke District, to educate people on the forthcoming voter registration exercise.

The committee led by its member Elias Daka asked the head men to educate their subjects on the importance of registering as voters in order to participate in the 2021 general election.

ZANIS reports that Mr. DAKA was speaking when he addressed head men in Msanzala Constituency.

He said the headmen are the custodians of the law in their villages and their voice on the voter registration exercise will add value and inspire many people to register as voters.

And speaking on behalf of other headmen, Chief Nyamphande’s senior Induna Michael Mwanza pledged to take the voter registration exercise message to the people in respective villages.
