PEACEFUL ATMOSPHERE IMPRESSIVE – BAI
By Fortune Malata
Head of the African Union Observer Mission ERNEST BAI KOROMA is impressed with the peaceful atmosphere that has characterised the polls in Lusaka.
Mr. KOROMA has observed that the 2021 General elections are being held in a peaceful and transparent manner in Lusaka and hopes that the situation is prevailing in other provinces.
Mr. KOROMA, who is also Former Sierra Leone Fourth President, says he has called on all political parties to respect the final outcome of this year’s general elections in order to maintain peace and unity.
He was speaking when he observed the voting process at Lusaka’s Kabulonga Boys Secondary School.
And Former Vice President ENOCK KAVINDELE said the turnout is a clear indication of how much people of Zambia want to exercise their civic right to vote.
