PATSON DAKA : TEAM KNOWS WHAT’S AT STAKE

Chipolopolo and Leicester City striker PATSON DAKA says the team knows what is at stake as they face Ivory Coast in their opening Group H AFCON qualifiers encounter.

DAKA says it is anticipated that the game against Ivory Coast will not be easy but the team is equal to the task.

He says games of such magnitude are interesting as they build resilience and help the team to put up a spirited fight.

In an interview with ZNBC Sport, DAKA said beating Ivory Coast will be a huge achievement for the team as they are among the best ranked teams on the continent.

He said with focus, unity and hard work the team has what it takes to win their group games.

DAKA said all players called for national duty deserve to be in the squad and should honour their call up by putting up a good performance.

DAKA becomes the 10th foreign based player to join camp ahead of Friday’s encounter.
