PARTNERS IN MISSION WORKS EMPOWER CLERGY, HEADMEN

Partners in Mission Works have empowered headmen, clergy and the vulnerable people in Chasefu District of Eastern Province with bicycles, clothes and food stuffs.

Organization President Reverend Serge Changa says the idea behind the empowerment is to supplement government efforts in poverty alleviation.

Reverend Changa says the organization has started providing shelter to the clergy and providing support to some of its members.

He says the main objective of Partners in Mission Works is to alleviate poverty among its members and the body of Christ.

Reverend Changa says the organization whose patron in President Edgar Lungu is in partnership with the government of the day.

And Partners in Mission Works Director for Social Welfare Saul Kiwempindi says the organization is looking for sustainable assistance to the needy.

And one of the beneficiaries Nyamazao Chipeta urged other organizations to emulate Partners in Mission Works in helping the needy.
