PARLY APPROVES BUDGET AND ADJOURNS

The National Assembly has passed the 2022 National Budget and has since adjourned sine die.

The Over 173 billion Kwacha National budget was approved after weeks of deliberations by Members of Parliament.

The current National Assembly was constituted on September 30th after the August 12 General Election which urshed in the UPND administration under President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA.

Finance Minister, SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE presented the Budget on October 29th under the Theme: Growth, Jobs and taking development closer to the people.

Speaker of National Assembly NELLY MUTTI thanked the Members of Parlaiment for actively participating in the deliberations of the House.
