Parley set to resume on February 15, 2022

Brian Mwale-The first session of the thirteenth National Assembly which adjourned sine die on December 23, 2021 will resume on Tuesday February 15, 2022.

Clerk of the National Assembly CECILIA MBEWE says the session is set to resume at 14:30 hours.

This is contained in a statement availed to ZNBC News in Lusaka.

During the last session, the National Assembly among other pertinent businesses passed the 2022 National Budget.

The National Assembly also passed the Income Tax, Customs and Excise Amendment and the Betting Control Amendment Bills.

A number of office bearers appointed by the President who include Chief Justice MUMBA MALILA were also ratified.
