PARENTS HAPPY WITH NEW SCHOOL DATE

Some parents in Lusaka have welcomed the decision by government to postpone the re-opening of schools by two weeks from the initial January 18TH to February 1.

The parents say the deferment of the school date will help them prepare adequately before taking their children to school.

They have told ZNBC News that the two weeks window will also allow authorities to monitor the Covid 19 situation before pupils can be sent to school.
