Operation 100 COVID 19 task force happy with Lusaka schools

Ruth Chayinda-Lusaka Province Principal Education Standard Officer LOVENESS MUTIMUSHI says the province is strictly monitoring the COVID -19 compliance levels in schools.

Ms. MUTIMUSHI says standard officers are visiting different learning institutions to check on compliance levels among pupils to prevent the spread of covid-19.

She said schools remain one of the safe environments for pupils.

Ms. MUTIMUSHI, who was in the entourage of the Operation 100 COVID 19 task force team, said this in an interview with ZNBC news shortly after touring Jacaranda Primary School and Lusaka Boys Secondary School.

And Operation 100 Covid-19 Task Force chairperson INAMBAO SITWALA said the task force will continue to tour schools to supplement government effort in the COVID 19 fight.

And Jacaranda Primary Head teacher MIRRIAM CHIPANGO said the school management will ensure the pupils adhere to the covid-19 guidelines as they attend classes.
