NPA launches Toll Free line

By Hannock Kasama

The National Prosecutions Authority -NPA- has launched its Toll Free line in an effort to enhance efficiency and integrity in its operations.

Director of Public Prosecutions -DPP- GILBERT PHIRI says the Toll Free line “3737” will also afford members of the public a chance to report possible inefficiency and improper behaviour among NPA members of staff.

Mr. PHIRI has also stressed that in the quest to uphold integrity the NPA will not embrace any form of corruption among its members of staff.

He spoke in Lusaka today during the official opening of a three day Governance Training Programme for some selected NPA members of staff.

The training programme themed “Building a great organisational Culture at NPA”, is being rolled out by CHANDLER Institute of Governance headquartered in SINGAPORE.

At the same occasion, CHANDLER Institute of Governance Executive Director WU-WEI NENG acknowledged that integrity is key to the NPA’s vision to improve its efficiency in service delivery.
