Northmead Police to get Upgrade

Lusaka Central Member of Parliament MULAMBO HAIMBE says government will soon upgrade Northmead Community Police Post into a level C Police post so that more Police officers are recruited there.

Mr. HAIMBE, who is also Justice Minister, says the recruitment of more officers will reduce the cases of junkies terrorizing the area.

He says it is unfortunate that Junkies have continued to harass people in Lusaka’s Northmead area.

Mr. HAIMBE said this when he officiated at the Induction Service for Pastor SINGANI MUTYAMBE into a Senior Pastor and Overseer of Berea Worship Center in Northmead.

He stated that the Government will continue to work with the church in taking development to people.

Meanwhile, Berea Worship Centre Regional Superintendent of Central Africa JOSEPH NDASHE said the Church plans to construct four health care facilities across the Country and a School in Northmead areas which will result in the creation of employment for the
Zambian people as part completing government efforts.
