“NO PLANS TO PRIVATIZE UTH”

Health Minister  JONAS CHANDA says government has no intentions of privatizing the University Teaching Hospital-UTH.

Dr.CHANDA has consequently directed that there must be no establishment of private medical facilities at UTH.

He however says government  is available to partner with the private sector in the delivery of health services.

Meanwhile Dr.CHANDA  has warned of stern action against medical personal who would be susceptible  to stealing medicine and corruption  in service delivery.

He says the culprits would be fired with immediate  effect.
