“NO DEVELOPMENT WITHOUT ZEMA APPROVAL”

Green Economy and Environment Minister COLLINS NZOVU says the Zambia Environment Management Agency -ZEMA- will be strengthened to ensure NO development takes place without its approval.

And Mr. NZOVU says his ministry will ensure there is respect for the rule of law.

He says legislation will be introduced meant to protect the environment as NO development is worth being done at the expense of the environment.

The Minister told ZNBC News that once funds are made available, all developers and Environmentalists will convene to discuss various issues affecting the environment.
