No cannabis plantation for Kabompo – ZNS

The Zambia National Service – ZNS says it will not set up a cannabis plantation in KABOMPO District owing to lack of security personnel in the area.

Last year, ZNS announced that it will set up a cannabis plantation in KABOMPO District which was expected to create an estimated one thousand jobs for the locals.

ZNS Commander Lieutenant General MALITI SOLOCHI says the service will set up a hemp plantation for medicinal purposes.

General SOLOCHI told ZNBC News that the cannabis plantation will now be set up in areas like Lusaka at ZNS Airport farms where there is adequate security.
