Nkwazi Queens receive donations of assorted sports equipment…Unveil new kit for 2021 FAZ Women’s National League season

Nkwazi Queens Football Club this morning, unveiled their official kit for the upcoming inaugural FAZ Women’s National League season which kicks off on Saturday.

The launch and unveiling ceremony was held at Edwin Imboela Stadium this morning where several partners handed over their specific sponsorship packages for the club.

Nkwazi Queens President Clement Njobvu called on other companies to come on board and join hands with the Police Command to sponsor the team.

“We have had a lot of challenges but with your support ( Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, Lillian Lombe Kamukoshi) and that of the IG we have managed to reach this far, It is my sincere honor to welcome you to this event. May you all join me in recognizing the following sponsors, Auto Z spares, Zamalisa Input and Distributors, and Livonia Investments,” he said.

“We asking for sponsors to come on board so that this team can reach the heights we are expecting,” he added.

Auto Zed Limited representative, Ahmed Godil said his company was thrilled to help out the team and that they were open to future endeavors.

“We as a company have a responsibility to support our security wing, talent needs to be supported, when we were approached we were very happy and honored the call, We also pledged to always be available in future when approached.”

Meanwhile, the guest of honor, Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, Lillian Lombe Kamukoshi, said the donation came at the right time as the team finalizes their preparations for the start of the National League.

She went on to ask other sponsors to come on board.

“This donation could not come at a better time. The team will be encouraged and motivated to work even harder as they participate in the 2021 FAZ National Women’s League,” she said.

Auto Zed Limited donated two sets of jerseys, tracksuits, and assorted sports equipment while Zamalisa chipped in with 15 single mattresses for the team to use during their camping.

The Police Sponsored side will face Elite, Lusaka Dynamos Ladies FC in their opening league fixture on Saturday at Edwin Imboela Stadium at 10:00hrs.
