Nkombo aids Hakapinka fishing camp victims

By Zanis-Mazabuka Member of Parliament GARY NKOMBO has come to the aid of over 500 people who have been left homeless after a fire swept through the Hakapinka fishing camp in Mazabuka district.

Over 153 houses were burnt to ashes leaving the families without food and beddings.

Mr. NKOMBO, who is also Local Government and Rural Development Minister, has handed over foods stuffs worth over 15 thousand kwacha to the families.

The Mazabuka Lawmaker, who visited the fishing camp, with other government officials also promised to help the families start afresh.

He said it is unfortunate that families have been left homeless.

Mr. NKOMBO also pledged to engage the relevant authorities to assist the families.
