National Sports Games Festival for Athletes with disabilities on

All is set for the 2023 National Sports Games Festival for Athletes with disabilities that take place this Saturday at the OYDC Sports Development Center.

Special Olympics Zambia Acting Sports Coordinator SHADRICK KAPUTA says preparations have progressed well and all provinces will have representation.

KAPUTA says the games are also being used to select a team which will represent Zambia at the Special Olympics World Games to be hosted by Germany in June this year.

He has told ZNBC News in an interview that the national championships will be a mixture of different children and will give them a platform to interact and feel part of society.

KAPUTA said the committee has done all the necessary preparations with support from the Ministry of Sports and other stakeholders.
