NALUMANGO IN EGYPT FOR COMESA SUMMIT

Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO is in Egypt to attend the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa -COMESA Summit.

And Mrs. NALUMANGO took some time to familiarize herself with construction of the new Capital City of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Egyptian Government is said to have taken the initiative to construct the New Capital as a means to decongest the old Capital City, which is reported to have not less than 25 Million people.

The Vice President also took keen interest to learn how the idea from her fellow Woman political leader, Dr. YASMINE FOUAD, Minister of Environment in Egypt ended the flood crisis in the old Capital.

Other places she toured included Egyptian Museum, Cabinet sites and two major religious sites; Mosque and the Church.

Mrs. NALUMANGO is accompanied by Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister CHIPOKA MULENGA and two others at the COMESA Summit.
