NAKACHINDA CALLS ON ZAMBIANS TO VOTE WISELY

By Mushota Mpundu

Former Water Development Minister Raphael Nakachinda says Zambians MUST not vote for a named opposition leader demanding 300 thousand United States Dollars from Vedanta to return the mine to the investor if he wins this week’s general election.

Speaking at a campaign meeting in Kitwe, Mr. Nakachinda urged Zambians to give President Lungu and the PF another mandate.

Mr. Nakachinda said the level of desperation by the named opposition leader to win this year’s election is worrying and must not be supported by Zambians.

Speaking at the same event, PF Member Chishimba Kambwili said Zambians must not be cheated by opposition leaders that they will fix the economy because most countries are struggling due to the effects of the Covid pandemic.

And Northern Province PF Presidential Campaign Coordinator Geoffrey Mwamba said the PF is returning to power this week because the people of Zambia still have hope and want more developmental projects to be rolled out to all parts of the country.

Earlier, Former defense minister George Mpombo called on Zambians to vote for President Lungu on Thursday because his Government has improved power supply from 1,800 to 3,000 megawatts.
