MWEPU JOINS BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION

By Chansa Kunda- Chipolopolo midfielder ENOCK MWEPU has joined English Premier league side BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION .

MWEPU becomes the second Zambian to Join a club in the top tier of the English Premier league after fellow former National team and Club mate PATSON DAKA Penned a deal with Leicester city bearly a week ago .

MWEPU joins the seagulls on a four year deal which is currently on undisclosed terms.

According the to the club’s off website the 23-year-old becomes Coach GRAHAM POTTER’S first signing ahead of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign, which will be Albion’s fifth consecutive year in the top-flight.

And GRAHAM POTTER says the Club is delighted to have ENOCK and are looking forward to be working with him.

POTTER says MWEPU is a good player who has a great deal of experience for someone his age having also played Champions league football with Redbul Salzburg .

He says MWEPU’s open minded role as player is an added advantage as he is able to play in numerous postions and adapt easily .

POTTER said the Former kafue Celtic and NAPSA Stars midfielder will add competition to the existing options in midfield going into the new season.

Meanwhile MWEPU has made 81 league appearances during his stint at the Red Bull Arena, scoring 11 goals and laying on nine assists.
