Mwape declares Copper Queens ready for Ghana clash

Copper Queens Coach BRUCE MWAPE says the team is not intimidated by the Black Queens of Ghana ahead of tomorrow’s first round first leg Olympic games Qualifier.

MWAPE says despite Ghana boosting of having big names in their squad the aim for the Copper Queens will be to collect maximum points and finish off the game in the first leg.

Speaking during a Pre-match Press Conference he said the game will not be easy but that Copper Queens will strive to keep a clean sheet.

And, Captain BARBRA BANDA said the team will dedicate tomorrow’s game to late Copper Queens player NORIN BETANI.

BANDA said the team is focused on what lies ahead and will not be intimidated by the Black Queens of Ghana when the two sides meet.

The game will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium with kickoff billed at 15:00 hours local time.
