By Mary Mwiinga:Lusaka Central Member of Parliament Margaret Mwanakatwe has donated 2- hundred and 50 bags of mealie meal and other groceries to the aged and the differently abled in Independence Ward 14.Ms Mwanakatwe says it is important to celebrate and help the aged, show them love as part of the celebration for a new year.She says the Patriotic front party also wants to ensure that the less privileged are cared for  regardless of political affiliations.Ms Mwanakatwe says the government is working round the clock to ensure that the price of mealie meal is reduced further.Ms Mwanakatwe was speaking when she handed over the mealie meal to the beneficiaries in Lusaka today.Meanwhile, One of the beneficiaries, Anna Chipabika thanked the area member of parliament for the gesture.
