MUNDENDE FIRED

ZESCO Board has terminated the contract for company Managing Director, VICTOR MUNDENDE, with immediate effect.

The Board has since appointed VICTOR MAPANI to replace Mr. MUNDENDE.

IDC Head of Corporate Communication NAMAKAU MUKELABAI confirmed in a statement to ZNBC News.

Ms MUKELABAI said Mr. MAPANI has extensive experience in the energy sector having worked in various power utilities and quasi government institutions in Zambia and abroad.

She said IDC and the ZESCO Board are confident Mr. MAPANI will execute his role diligently and undertake key reforms that will make ZESCO a profitable enterprise.
