MULUNGUSHI TEXTILES RE-OPENING TALKS ADVANCE

(ZANIS) Government is considering re-opening the ginning factory at the Zambia China Mulungushi Textiles in Kabwe, before commissioning other sections.

And talks between the Zambian and Chinese governments over the re-opening of the plant have advanced.

This came to light when Special Assistant to the President for Project Monitoring and Implementation Andrew Chellah conducted a tour of the plant.

Mr. Chellah said opening the ginnery factory will help create working capital to support commissioning of the rest of the plant to create job opportunities for the people of Kabwe.
