Mulenga Rejects Jelusic

Sports Minister Emmanuel Mulenga has called on the Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- to look for a more suitable and qualified candidate for the Chipolopolo boys’ job.Mulenga says government is not satisfied with track record of Chipolopolo would-be coach of Vaselin Jelusic.In a telephone interview with ZNBC sports in Kitwe the Sports Minister said the FAZ preferred candidate has only coached Botswana national team and did not qualify them to any major competition.Mulenga said FAZ should not single source but advertise the Chipolopolo boys’ vacant job.But FAZ Communications Manager Mwazi Chanda said the news on the appointment of Jelusic was false and that Football House is expected to announce the name of the new coach this week.
