MUBUKWANU NODS INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

By Michael Kaumba:North-western Province Minister Nathaniel Mubukwanu has described the infrastructure development being rolled out under the PF government  in the province as unprecedented.Mr. Mubwakwanu says the North western province has received a fair share of development in various sectors such as roads,hospitals,communication and education.And Mr. Mubukwanu  also disclosed that the contractor for the Solwezi-Kipushi road has mobilised equipment and moved on site.He has told ZNBC News that works on the road have, however, delayed due to the heavy rains being experienced in the area.Mr. Mubwakwanu said the contractor CHINA State will start works once the rainy season is over.Meanwhile, Mr. Mubwakwanu has confirmed that President Edgar Lungu is on Saturday expected in the province  on a two day working visit.He said whilst in the province, President Lungu will commission a solar power facility in Chief Chibwika’s area in Mwinilunga on Saturday.On Sunday, the head of state will attend a Church service after which he will open the new Patriotic Front offices in the district before flying back to Lusaka.Mr. Mubwakunu has since appealed to people in the province to turn up in large numbers and welcome the President.He said the visit to the province by President Lungu will accord him a chance to witness the impact of the developmental projects on the lives of ordinary people and assess for himself exactly what is transpiring on the ground.
