MTN SUPER LEAGUE RESULTS

EMMANUEL MWABA scored in stoppage time as Green Eagles beat Chambishi one nil in a week 25 of the MTN Super league fixture played in Choma.

Eagles have since maintained second position on 45 points and are a point shy of leaders Red Arrows who face Forest Rangers at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola tomorrow.

This afternoon’s win by the Eagles is the fourth out of the five games and 12th in total for the Choma outfits.

And Midfielder JOHN CHING’ANDU bagged a brace as Zesco United beat Green BUAFFLOES three nil and are now seated on 44 points in third position.

CHING’ANDU found the back of the net in both halves of the game as the NDOLA giants silenced Buffaloes to make 13 wins out of 25 games played this season.

The visitors had their goals registered in the 22nd and 59th minutes by CHING’ANDU while CHANDA MUKUKA added a third in the 74th minute.

Other games played this afternoon saw POWER DYNAMOS beat NKWAZI one nil to record their second win in five games while Konkola blades beat Indeni 2-1 to make two wins in a roll.

With a man down Lusaka dynamos won the bragging rights in the Lusaka derby played at Edwin imboela Stadium courtesy of a one nil win over Kafue Celtic.

The victory for the Elite team moves them from 18th to 17th position as they continue nursing their wounds in the relegation Zone.

Two fixtures involving Nkana football club and Kansanshi, Prison leopards and Kabwe Warriors ended in goalless draws.
