Most schools set for reopening-Kamoko

Lucky Phiri-Education Permanent Secretary, JOEL KAMOKO says most schools are set for reopening next week, for the first term of the 2022 academic calendar

Mr. KAMOKO says only few schools, especially those in rural areas, may be lagging behind in preparing for reopening, due to a few challenges.

He has told ZNBC news that school administrators should formulate a plan to ensure pupils catch up on the lost time, once schools open.

Meanwhile, Secondary School Teachers Union of Zambia General Secretary, SITIBEKISO WAMUYUWA says schools should prudently use the grants disbursed by the government.
