More districts to offer continuous voter registration

The Electoral Commission of Zambia -ECZ- has increased the number of Districts conducting voter registration to twenty.

ECZ Chairperson   MWANGALA ZALOUMIS says ten more Districts have been added to carry out continuous voter registration.

Mrs. ZALOUMIS has named the newly included districts as Chongwe, Kabompo, Kitwe, Livingstone, and Lundazi,

Others are Mbala, Mkushi, Nakonde, Nchelenge, and Sesheke.

Speaking during the opening of a review meeting on continuous voter registration, Mrs. ZALOUMIS encouraged eligible voters in old and newly added districts to take advantage of the process and register as voters.

And Mrs. ZALOUMIS has urged the District Electoral Officers to be up to the task in ensuring that the exercise is efficient and effective.
