MoH Implements Smart Care Plus

Ministry of Health has implemented the Smart Care Plus to over three hundred health facilities Countrywide.

Ministry Information Communication Technology- ICT Director ANDREW KASHOKA says the ministry targets to implement the project in over a thousand health facilities.

He says the project which has seen most health facilities go paperless is aimed at enhancing the healthcare system while utilizing technology and harness accurate data for easy access.

Mr. KASHOKA says patients now instead of buying books are using their National Registration Cards , for easy access of past medical records.

Meanwhile, beneficiaries have appreciated this initiative saying it is efficiency.
