MIXED MARTIAL ARTS: KENNEDY NYAONDO WINS

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter, KENNEDY NYAONDO beat NICHOLAS VERMAAK to successfully defend his Gauteng Fighting Championships Feather weight Championship title.

The Zambian won the fight by unanimous point decision, to defend his Gauteng Fighting Championships -GFC- that was on the line.

And, Mixed Martial Arts-MMA – Zambia President BENJAMIN BUSH says the victory did not come easy for NYAONDO as he was up against a strong opponent.

BUSH told ZNBC Sports News that with such results, Zambia is headed in the right direction and will produce fighters that will progress to the Ultimate fighting Championship-UFC- which is the biggest stage in mixed martial arts.

He has further appealed to various stakeholders to come on board and support the Amateur league to be held at the Lusaka Music Club this month.
