MILINGO LUNGU’S IMMUNITY REVOKED

The Director of Public Prosecution -DPP- has revoked the immunity agreement granted to former Konkola Copper Mines -KCM- liquidator MILINGO LUNGU.

The National Prosecution Authority -NPA- Spokesperson CHALI HAMBAYI says the revocation of the immunity agreement means that Mr. LUNGU may be taken back to the courts.

Speaking at a press briefing, the NPA spokesperson said the development also means that the Mr. LUNGU’s criminal proceedings can now be instituted against him.

She said this is pursuant to the powers vested in the DPP.
