MASEBO TELLS LUAPULA NOT BE MISLED BY TRIBALISTS

Health Minister SYLVIA MASEBO has urged the people of Luapula Province NOT to be misled by politicians who use tribalism to woo votes.

Ms. MASEBO says Luapula Province has remained underdeveloped despite having ministers from the previous regime.

She says the people of Luapula Province especially youths should NOT be incited into protesting on claims of tribalism in government.

The Minister says President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has embraced all tribes in his government.

She says the President is employing thirty thousand teachers and eleven thousand two hundred teachers in the country.

Ms. MASEBO says President HICHILEMA has also brought free education within a short time he has been in government and urged residents to continue supporting his government.

She was speaking when she addressed marketeers at Senama Market in Mansa District.

And the Minister has thanked the people of Luapula Province for voting for President HICHILEMA in the August general election.

Earlier, Luapula province Minister DERRICK CHILUNDIKA said President HICHILEMA’s government is concerned with the welfare of every Zambian.

Mr. CHILUNDIKA also appealed to people form cooperatives and clubs so that it is easier for government to help them.

And UPND national chairperson STEPHEN KATUKA said government is working around the clock to deliver on its election campaign promises.
