By Masauso Mkwayaya

Health Minister SYLVIA MASEBO has urged street vendors in the country to work together with Government and ensure they prevent the spread of Cholera.

Ms. MASEBO has further called on street vendors to diversify ways of doing business so that they do not put themselves at the risk of contracting diseases.

She said this in the National Assembly when she gave an update on the status of COVID-19 Pandemic in Zambia.

Meanwhile Ms. MASEBO said 70-percent of children in Schools have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

The minister said this means that chances for those who are vaccinated to contract COVID-19 are slim.

She said vaccination further entails that those who get sick won’t be severely affected.

Ms. MASEBO added that Government has ensured that Schools are constantly sanitized so that pupils are safe from contracting the disease.
