Masauso Tembo leads the race for the Green Buffaloes’ top job…Could start signing foreigners

Green Buffaloes Executive Committee has identified Masauso Tembo as Justin Chinama’s successor, the ZamFoot Crew understands.

The Executive Committee is believed to have been locked in talks with Masauso earlier this week.

Chinama was sent on administrative leave in March following a string of poor results.

Australia Mweemba acted as head coach in his absence deputised by former Chipolopolo defender Buchizya Mfune.

Tembo on the other hand helped FC MUZA to secure qualification to the Super League.

The Zambia army sponsored outfit has also been given greenlight to sign foreign players the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.

The team also conducted trials this whole week as they look to reinforce the squad ahead of the 2022/2023 Super League season.

Meanwhile Young Green Buffaloes is set to be transformed into a proper academy and will only have players below the age of 23 who will be groomed for the Super League side.
