MAN SHOT DEAD

A Lusaka Man has been shot dead by unknown people in Mtendere Compound.

Chama Mwango who is believed to be in his late 20s was discovered dead in the early hours of Today few meters away from his house.

And a Check by ZNBC News found Police have secured the crime scene as neighbors gathered to catch a glimpse of the body.

One of the Neighbors Petronella Musonda has narrated that she heard some noise in the house of the deceased around 03 hours and later a gun shot outside.

She says around 05 hours her neighbors informed her that the body of Chama was lying in cold blood.

And Munali Member of Parliament Mike Mposha who also visited  the scene has directed the Police to ensure the culprits behind the murder case are arrested.

Mr. Mposha has described the incident as unfortunate stating that his office will ensure enhanced patrols in the area.

Meanwhile, Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga says  a comprehensive statement will be issued on the matter.
