MAMBILIMA DESCRIBED AS PILLAR OF JUSTICE

Deputy Chief Justice Michael Musonda says Chief Justice Irene Mambilima has received international acclaim for her leadership and character.

Justice Musonda has meanwhile described Justice Mambilima as a pillar of justice and rule of law .

Justice Musonda also says Justice Mambilima was a champion of good governance and democracy.

He also says Justice Mambilima was a bridge between old and young judges having been the longest serving judge.

Justice said this in Lusaka today in an interview with journalists after opening a book of Condolence at the Supreme Court in honor of late Justice Mambilima.

And Law Association of Zambia LAZ President Abyud Shonga said Justice Mambilima was a distinguished judge who united members of the judiciary and legal fraternity.
