MALANJI LAUNCHES REVOLVING FUND IN KWACHA

 

By Clinton Masumba-Kwacha Constituency Member of Parliament Joe Malanji has launched a stimulus revolving fund for Teachers in all the schools in his Constituency and people in the informal sector.

Mr. Malanji, who is also Foreign Affairs Minister, says the move is aimed at creating jobs for those in the informal sector as well as empowering teachers with the revolving fund.

He has encouraged people in the informal sector to form co-operatives and benefit from the initiative.

Mr. Malanji has also promised to buy block making machines for those engaged in block making in his Constituency.

He said this after he handed over 30-thousand kwacha to three groups engaged in block-making to facilitate the registration of a cooperative that will be used to benefit from more empowerment initiatives.

And Mr. Malanji has urged teachers at Valley View Secondary School who will receive 30 thousand kwacha to invest the money in viable activities that will help multiply the fund.
