Maintain current national team-Himoonde

Chansa Kunda-Former Chipolopolo Defender HICHANI HIMOONDE says the current national football team should be maintained if the country is to get back to winning ways.

HIMOONDE says there is need for consistency in player selection and in keeping the team together.

In an interview with ZNBC News, the 2012 AFCON winner said there is need to give players and the technical bench enough time to develop a strategy that will see Zambia re-emerge among continental football giants.

HIMOONDE, who is now Assistant Coach with Division one outfits City of Lusaka, has further advised young players to remain disciplined.
