LUSAMBO CAUTIONS SOME DIPLOMATS

Former Kabushi Member of Parliament BOWMAN LUSAMBO says some diplomats are against President EDGAR LUNGU because of the stance he has taken on the issue of gays and homosexuality.

Mr. LUSAMBO says President LUNGU is just representing the views of many Zambians who do not support such acts.

He says Zambians are not ready to give up their cultural values because of pressure from foreigners.

Mr. LUSAMBO told ZNBC News that Christians should defend the stance that the President has taken on the issues of homosexuality.

Meanwhile Mr. LUSAMBO said diplomats who are questioning the deployment of soldiers to maintain peace and order are been hypocritical.

He said their countries equally deploy soldiers to bring order when there is an electoral dispute.
